Overview:
As the Vice President of Product Management at Litera, you will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about driving innovation in the legal technology space. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge tools and collaborate with industry experts to deliver solutions that make a real difference in the legal profession. You will lead a key product line, driving the product strategy, roadmap, and execution to meet market needs and organizational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership in product management, with expertise in planning, execution, and delivery in high-growth technology organizations.

  • 8+ years of experience managing Cloud and On-Premises products.

  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with executives, engineering teams, and customers.

  • Strong customer focus, with a track record of stakeholder engagement and navigating organizational complexity.

  • Experience leading geographically distributed teams.

  • Expertise in managing large-scale projects, breaking them into actionable components.

  • Skilled in driving product strategy, roadmaps, and innovation.

  • Ability to travel as needed.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience with legal software

  • Post-Merger & Acquisition product integration.

  • Experience with workflow and or data/documentation solutions

  • Experience building and commercially launching solutions with Generative AI capabilities

A Day in the Life:

  • Partner with executives to shape the product strategy across a portfolio of solutions.

  • Analyze market trends and gather customer insights to identify growth opportunities.

  • Lead teams to create user stories, product requirements, and roadmaps.

  • Collaborate with marketing and pricing teams on go-to-market strategies.

  • Develop and implement best practices for scalable product management processes.

  • Monitor product performance metrics and implement continuous improvements.

  • Manage product launches, ensuring alignment across marketing, sales, and support teams.

  • Lead roadmap planning and contribute to strategic direction discussions.

  • Conduct competitive analysis and Win/Loss reviews to inform product innovation.

  • Evaluate emerging technologies to drive market-leading solutions.

Role Progression:

Within 1 Month:

  • Complete onboarding, training, and team introductions.

  • Understand the organization’s strategy, product lifecycle, and roadmaps.

  • Identify gaps and risks in current processes and products.

Within 3 Months:

  • Develop actionable recommendations for process and product improvements.

  • Engage with customers to understand needs and opportunities.

  • Evaluate and provide coaching to your team, setting growth plans.

  • Present roadmap and release progress to leadership.

Within 6 Months:

  • Own and refine product strategy and roadmaps.

  • Drive visibility into ROI for roadmap investments.

  • Lead strategic roadmap discussions with customers and advisory boards.

  • Collaborate with marketing on branding and product positioning.

  • Provide timely updates to executive leadership on progress and strategy.

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Rhode Island, or Washington residents is $175,000 to $195,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Litera offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
