Vice President of Ninja Marketing – Thirsti and Beverage

Position Overview 
The Vice President of Ninja Marketing will lead the commercialization and go-to-market strategy for the Ninja Thirsti and Beverage business. This person will develop the marketing strategies to expand into new categories, foster growth in existing ones, and support execution for global markets. This person will work closely with cross functionals teams to develop and drive the marketing plan including media, communications, assortments, and channels strategy while managing launches occurring on time across all channels and markets. The Vice President will oversee main unit device and flavor roadmap, ensuring total ecosystem is delivering strong sell through and retention.  

Responsibilities 

  • Build and lead the marketing organization to build and ensure execution of all go to market plans including product marketing positioning across all consumer touch points (Full Funnel Integrated Marketing Communications).  
  • Identify global brand architecture for main unit and flavor to continue to expand assortment in all channels and optimize based on consumer journey insights.  
  • Partner with retail and digital teams on continued to track on shelf sell through performance, audience shopper profiles, fueling insights to drive flavor roadmap and household retention.  
  • Work with sales and category management for sell-in strategy, retailer placement, and channel management across key launches. 
  • Communicate and review all commercialization strategies with the executive team, present insights, and recommendations, and align on a path forward.  
  • Develop strategies and business case for global expansion in partnership with consumer insights, product development, and sales.  
  • Work with cross functional leadership team on the global P&L management of the Ninja Thirsti ecosystem and revenue model.  
  • Lead and mentor a team of brand marketers to implement on-time and on-brand execution of all key initiatives, campaigns, and deliverables.  
  • Develop and execute brand guidelines to ensure a cohesive brand experience across all potential internal and external audience touchpoints.  
  • Develop consumer insights to not only ideate new products but also to optimize the products throughout the commercialization process; lead innovation testing to prove out ideas with consumers.

  • Ability to connect the dots and think at a holistic and strategic level across the business.  
  • Influencing, conflict resolution, and creative problem-solving.  
  • Comfortable mining, analyzing data and drawing conclusions.  
  • Project management and ability to manage several projects in parallel, navigating a complex cross-functional matrix.  
  • Biased toward action, roll up your sleeves and get it done together.  

Qualifications 

  • Minimum of 15+ years of prior Marketing experience required, preferably with direct responsibility for Brand strategy, messaging, commercialization, and P&L management.  
  • Deep experience with consumable products (e.g., food and beverage marketing) and/or deep experience in CPG marketing.  
  • Experience in managing, building, and growing teams in a global context  
  • Experience leveraging consumer insights to develop effective marketing programs and campaigns.  
  • Experience in creative strategy development, advertising and launching new products.  
  • Experience in launching products globally across several different markets.  
  • Bachelors required and MBA preferred.  

 

This role will sit in our Needham, MA office.
