Job Title: Vice President, Data Strategy & Sourcing
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the firm’s head of data strategy and sourcing, engage in vendor management, procurement, and reporting for the firm as a whole
- Manage the data and platform needs for the firm’s internal trading groups
- Contract management (Preparation, Negotiation, Renewal).
- Interface with 3rd party service providers and be an effective conduit between our internal departments and outside vendors.
- Track all subscriptions, entitlements and report usage to the necessary internal and external entities as required.
- Coordinate billing with our internal accounting department for cost allocations and budgetary forecasting.
Requirements:
- Must be comfortable communicating with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- Customer focused with strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of Domestic and International Market Data offerings, both real-time and historic.
- Experience with vendors such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv, FactSet, MSCI, NYSE, Nasdaq, CME, S&P, etc.
- Able to multi-task and work under pressure, plan and problem solve.
- Must possess a willingness to learn and grow to meet the changing requirements of the job and business.
- Ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Excel.
- Knowledge of EMRS and cost allocation systems such as Stavtar, FITS, and MDSL.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 2-5 years’ experience of relevant experience, preferably at an investment manager or data vendor.
Salary Range
$150,000—$200,000 USD
