Job Description
The HR Employee Engagement team runs a number of global initiatives that help create a culture where every employee is engaged, proud to work at JPMC, knows their voice is heard, and contributes to the firm's success. Our main products are global recognition, including planning and executing Employee Appreciation Week, global employee-led volunteerism via GoodWorks, Global Mentoring and Business Resource Group program management.
Employee Engagement is seeking an individual who will provide support to help optimize, expand and implement the programs that seek to engage employees via Business Resource Groups, recognition, volunteerism, mentoring, and other meaningful employee experiences in APAC and globally.
The position represents an opportunity to connect employee passions to their engagement at work, grow knowledgebase of a variety of functions and businesses, and hone problem solving and communication skills. The successful candidate will possess strong attention to detail, high energy and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven organization. This individual will need to work well in a team environment and be able to represent the firm with professional courtesy and acumen. This role requires initiative, sound decision-making and the ability to exercise independent judgement as questions arise with our stakeholders and clients.
Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership - Help strategically lead the program work tied to the platform and serve as a SME for technical inquiries
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for internal stakeholders to build and expand employee engagement plans and firmwide initiatives including but not limited to Volunteer Week, Employee Appreciation Week, Giving Tuesday, etc.
  • Accountable for setting up project plans, project governance, status reporting, timeline, definition of and coordination of deliverables
  • Assist with change management and communications strategies that can be implemented across all major areas within the Employee Engagement, Culture & Listening organization
  • Program Governance and Accountability - Assist BRG Leaders with developing a strategic roadmap for new chapter implementation in coordination with their Governing COE
  • Program Management - APAC and NAMR - Monitor and respond to inquiries and serve as champion for the program by speaking at regular meetings and providing quarterly updates to necessary stakeholders.
  • Resource Creation and Education - Develop and deliver resources and informational programs to educate leaders on the new platform, firmwide processes and best practices around event planning
  • Promote broad understanding among employees of the firm's engagement opportunities
  • Provide additional support within department as necessary (i.e. recognition & mentoring)
  • Provide program update/upgrade recommendations based on analytic research
  • Assist management with program updates and instituting new initiatives


Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Ability to use discretion and good judgement to solve problems and respond to inquiries
  • Ability to think critically and strategically about program design and implementation
  • Demonstration of problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative
  • Strong track record managing complex projects and leading change management efforts
  • Ability to work with and present to stakeholders and colleagues at all levels
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor and track timelines, deadlines, progress and schedules
  • Strong Microsoft Office Skills - specifically Excel reporting (vLookup, Pivot, Filter) and PowerPoint (creating and editing presentations)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a high-performance, professional environment, with quick turn-around and changing priorities
  • Ability to learn and apply business processes and procedures
  • Experience collecting, analyzing and synthesizing data from multiple sources
  • Ability to multi-task and manage priorities effectively to deliver timely and accurate work in tight timeframe
