The Vertex Internship Program offers students the opportunity to learn about the pharmaceutical industry from a hands-on perspective. You will be working closely with and learning from some of the brightest people in the industry. Job Summary:
The person in this role will be a supportive member of Vertex’s DTE G&A team and the global DTE organization. This intern will specifically help support financial applications which enable the organization to function optimally financially by supporting the technology behind strategic investing, banking, procurement, and additional operational competencies. This will include tasks such as implementation, automation, reporting, maintenance, configuration, audit, and more.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and/or monitor tasks around new system implementation and testing (new TMS system).
- Support audit for financial systems under manager responsibility.
- Understand, Analyze, and identify opportunities to automate or optimize core treasury operations and functions.
- Collaborate with other departments to identify opportunity points for partnership.
Qualifications:
- Interest in learning financial systems and applications and optimizing processes.
- Comfortable with trying/using basic formulas and/or coding for reporting and automation
- Legal authorization to work in the United States, now and in the future. Please note that Vertex does not provide sponsorship for internships or entry level roles within this part of the organization.
- Candidate must be enrolled in an advanced degree program if graduating before May 2025
- Candidate must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week from May - August 2025

Pay Range 20.00 – 27.00 USD/hour
