Job Responsibilities:
In your role of Complete Vehicle Intern Engineer, you will be able to assist in the Benchmark, Testing Development and Architecture activities of a Complete Vehicle Engineering development.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reviewing Vehicle Systems in CAD and analyze compatibility within components and systems to validate requirements such as Clash Analysis, clearances, material properties, and other activities related.
- Participate in the Vehicle benchmark and clinic events, and support with reports documentation.
- Create benchmark UI/UX catalog and Identify opportunities to streamline existing processes and digital products by driving the adoption of UX standards and best practices.
- Support competence build up for vehicle user experience.
- Report issues in timely matter and support cross-functional teams reviews and problem solving.
- Support in Weight management activities, such as BOM review, calculation discrepancies, and problem resolution with the different teams.
- Creation of process and documentation for operations (equipment, vehicle sign off, check list, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Some automotive experience is a plus.
- Currently enrolled and working towards a bachelor's/master's degree of Science or Engineering in Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, or related discipline.
- Applied engineering experience through student organizations, internships, or personal projects.
- Ability to participate in Complete Vehicle Testing, Analysis, and Design
Education / Experience
- High School Diploma
- Currently Attending a College or University
Special Knowledge / Skills:
- Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Professional Communication skills (written and verbal)
- CATIA V5 Experience is a plus.
- Vehicle interface, System Graphic Design, Web Design, User Interface Design, or a related field
