ISEE is seeking a detail oriented senior vehicle integration engineer.
Role responsibilities include:
- Debug/maintain and integrate autonomy systems into base vehicle platforms
- Triage reported in-vehicle issues (that could be related to sensors, vehicle ECUs, vehicle - communication, data logging equipment, software and more)
- Solve vehicle communication issues, design solutions and raise incidents where necessary
- Be hands-on (incl. disassembling) in vehicles to determine root causes of reported issues
- Be the “first responder” for vehicle issues
- Raise suggestions for improvements to avoid reoccurring issues with the platform
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in diagnosing automotive bus systems and working on vehicles (disassembling and assembling parts of the vehicle) and the ability to demonstrate high proficiency in these areas
- 5+ Years of Experience in the relevant industry
- Bachelor in Engineering field (Automotive, electric, IT, or similar) or equivalent experience
- Experience with diverse automotive sensors incl. GPS, cameras, and LiDAR
- Passionate about self-driving vehicles and robotics
- Experience with state-of-the-art automotive bus analyzing tools (e.g. Vector CANoe/CANalyzer)
- Exposure to Matlab/Simulink tooling and Linux
- Worked with latest sensor technology for autonomous driving platforms incl. sensor calibrations
