If you live and breathe cars, we want you to join TLA, an award-winning marketing powerhouse with over two decades of success in the automotive sector. Partnering with iconic brands like Volkswagen, BMW, and Ford, we help drive car sales through our industry-leading customer acquisition solutions.

The Opportunity: Vehicle Data Specialist

We’re on the hunt for a true car geek—someone whose passion for the automotive world goes beyond the average hobbyist. As our Vehicle Data Specialist, you will become the go-to expert for all things automotive within TLA. You'll use your knowledge and love for cars to manage and analyse vehicle data that powers our business, keeping us ahead of the curve in this ever-evolving industry. From the latest hybrid innovations to niche performance features, you'll be the in-house guru who knows it all.

Working closely with the Head of Data, you will be responsible for curating and maintaining the new TLA vehicle database, enriching it with every conceivable detail from trusted automotive sources. This isn’t just about data—it’s about using your deep enthusiasm for cars to guide the business and provide insights that fuel our success with automotive brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the automotive expert who leads the import and structuring of external vehicle data into the TLA Vehicle Database.
  • Acquire, verify, and process vehicle information from sources like manufacturer websites, independent platforms, and third-party data feeds, covering all cars and vans available in the UK market.
  • Use web scraping and other automated tools to keep data fresh, ensuring we’re always on top of the latest industry changes and trends.
  • Add flair and enrichment to our database by integrating exciting details like awards, unique selling points (USPs), and more.
  • Maintain the highest standards of accuracy and ensure all vehicle data meets the OEM compliance requirements of top brands.

Who We're Looking For:

  • A die-hard car enthusiast with a deep and genuine passion for the automotive industry.
  • Someone who follows car trends religiously, from electric vehicle advances to performance specs, and thrives on sharing that knowledge.
  • A meticulous individual who loves organising complex data and spotting patterns in automotive specs and trends.
  • A quick learner with a technical mindset, excited to adopt new tools and processes to stay on top of the latest in data management.
  • Commercially savvy, with a solid understanding of how UK automotive markets work and how data drives sales.

Ideal Experience & Skills:

  • In-depth automotive knowledge—whether through formal education or personal passion.
  • A detail-oriented, analytical approach to organising large datasets and solving problems.
  • Some experience in data automation or web scraping tools would be a bonus.

Why Join TLA?

At TLA, we’re driven by a mission to help automotive brands sell more cars by delivering the highest quality leads and clicks. We care deeply about our clients, consumers, and colleagues, striving to innovate and win as a team.

  • Be part of a company that’s shaping the future of car buying, where your work directly influences our success.
  • Enjoy a hybrid working model, with Monday/Tuesday in our vibrant Liverpool centre office.
  • Engage in a culture that values self-development, teamwork, and giving back through charity sporting events.
  • Benefit from a competitive salary, private health insurance, pension plan, and more.

PLEASE NOTE: This role is open only to candidates with the right to work in the UK without the need for sponsorship or visa. It also requires weekly attendance in our Liverpool office for at least two days per week.

What We Do

In today's digital age, the majority of car buyers turn to the internet for research, making it challenging for automotive brands to reach and engage with them effectively. That's where we come in.

We operate a network of unique automotive websites, each designed to cater to specific segments of the car buyer market. Our sites generate substantial volumes of high-quality leads that convert at industry-leading rates, ensuring your brand connects with the right buyers at the right time.

Our proprietary TLA CAP (Customer Acquisition Platform) helps automotive brands tackle common challenges, such as duplication and inconsistency, that often lead to wasted time and resources.

Trusted by the UK's most prominent and well-established automotive brands and their media agencies, we provide unparalleled access to a vast pool of potential car buyers, empowering your brand to sell more cars.

With offices in Liverpool and London, as well as remote team members across the country, our diverse and talented team includes developers, strategists, data specialists, marketers, customer service professionals, and more.
