Are you passionate about football and cutting-edge technology? We're on the lookout for VAR Replay Operators to join our elite operations team, focusing on the Austrian Bundesliga – with potential opportunities to work on UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and FIFA World Cup matches!
The role will encompass the set-up and operation of our Video Assistant Referee technology. You will work directly with match officials, responding to their requests for replays and quickly delivering them the best possible camera angles to have a crucial impact in real time.

Key Responsibilities
-
Pre-match planning and administration in the days building up to your games
-
Setting up Hawk-Eye technology in the Replay Centre
-
Conducting pre-match checks of the systems in accordance with standard procedures
-
Liaising with all members of staff, match officials and supervisors on-site
-
Operating the systems during the match
-
Monitoring hardware and software performances, being able to troubleshoot and report encountered issues
-
Completing post-match reports for client delivery and improving future operations
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Essential:

Bright and enterprising with excellent organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills

Proactive, responsible attitude and ability to work on your initiative with minimum supervision

Time management skills and ability to work in a high-pressure, procedural, live broadcast environment

Ability to liaise with stakeholders in a professional and approachable manner with attention to good communication.

Comfortable working in English (reading, writing and speaking) as you may need to interact with colleagues from other countries

Able to adapt to flexible working conditions with irregular working hours

Driving licence

Fluent in German

A technical background, ideally in IT or Broadcast

An interest in sports and/or sports analysis, with a good knowledge of football and the rules of the game

Experience working on live events / technical production

Prepared to travel locally and, if required, further afield in Austria
