We are looking for a Value office expert who is able to help execute the NN Group wide strategic direction for the years to come. Like many companies, NN Group is focused on digital and strategic transformation. In this respect, we developed an extensive programme, called ‘Future Ready‘. The overall direction of the journey we embarked on is clear, but financial monitoring and steering of these plans are key in the execution  – which you as value office expert will be leading. Key elements include IT simplification, Data & AI, digital & frictionless journeys, standardising support processes and profitable growth. For all these initiatives you will keep to overall overview on investments, benefits and business cases in close collaboration with the Future Ready Transformation Office.
 

What you are going to do

Your job will include:

  • Taking the independent lead on the measurement and reporting of the future ready initiatives
  • Together with transformation office coordinate performance review process with key stakeholders of the various future ready workstreams and initiatives
  • Writing performance reports for senior management including Management Board and International Steerco
  • Oversee overall developments in future ready initiatives including benefit and investment tracking and further setting up a process to track these
  • Involved in prioritisation and guidance of the various future ready initiatives based on financial-, change- and business insights
  • Financially challenge new business cases and ensure that initiatives are properly reflected in the multi-year business plans

Who you are

  • You have a financial/economics or related university degree and at least 8 years working experience in that field
  • You have executive stakeholder management experience and able to build lasting relationships with other business units and transformation office
  • You could both work independently and work together within broad (strategic) project teams
  • You have adequate analytical skills and executive reporting experience preferably in the insurance sector
  • You have experience with project performance tracking: business case challenge, investment monitoring and benefit tracking
  • You have strong communication skills (oral/writing) in English and preferably in Dutch

 

Who you will work with

You will work within the P&A team Group & Dutch BU, reporting to Kamiel van Langen. You will also work closely together with the Strategic Transformation Office, reporting to Regina Bruijnaers. The broader P&A Group & Dutch BU team consists of 10 persons and is responsible for the strategic and financial reporting and analyzes of the performance of the NN Group. The team consists of financial and business experts with diverse international backgrounds. We are a fun, friendly and supportive team, helping each other and sharing knowledge. To connect, we work at the The Hague office every Wednesday.
