For almost 20 years, Avid4 Adventure has empowered kids to live active outdoor lifestyles through our unique outdoor programming. We are hiring Aftercare Supervisors for our Day Camp programs to provide on-site management, mentorship, and instruction to our campers after the camp day ends. Our Aftercare Supervisors are seasoned childcare professionals who are trusted to care for our campers during pick up hours and ensure their wellness after a long day of programs.
We are hiring several Aftercare Supervisors for the following Colorado locations:

Valmont Bike Park, Boulder
In this role you will:

Supervise campers by leading age-appropriate, after-camp biking activities while maintaining a fun and safety-focused environment.

Ride bikes with campers daily, supporting skill-building, confidence, and group engagement.

Organize and participate in a variety of aftercare programming, including games, arts & crafts, and outdoor play.

Manage weekly purchasing of aftercare supplies and snacks, staying within a provided budget based on camp size.

Ensure camper safety by following and teaching safety protocols at all times.

Communicate directly with parents during camper pick-up, providing updates and maintaining a positive relationship with families.
Your Background
-
Must be at least 18 years of age by the start of camp
-
Experience riding in a bike park environment
-
Comfortability jumping a bike on small features (although any higher level skills are great!)

Basic knowledge of bike maintenance like fixing a flat and adjusting gears/brakes
-
Must have 6+ months of demonstrated experience supervising youth in a highly autonomous, professional setting (school, afterschool program, camp, or similar)

Minimum of Basic First Aid & CPR certification by the start of camp (and we can point you in the right direction to get this done)
Important Details

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 2:30 - 5:30pm (Plus one paid hour/week for supply shopping). Opportunity for additional hours substituting for our day camp programs.

Position Duration: Training begins May 17 - 24, program depending. Camps run May 27 - June 9 through August 1 - 15, program depending.

Compensation: Pay is determined based on position, location, additional responsibilities, relevant certifications, and staff tenure.

Pay: $21.60/hour

Relevant Certification Bonuses: $100 - $400 per certification (up to $400)
