You will be responsible for leading the strategy and execution of user experience improvements and conversion rate optimisation across our grocery website. The primary goal of the role is to enhance the overall customer journey, drive conversion rates, and deliver measurable business results through user-centred design and data-driven experimentation.
Conversion Rate Optimisation Strategy:
Oversee the development and execution of a comprehensive CRO strategy aimed at improving key metrics. Ensuring the team can leverage analytics, A/B testing, user research, and market data to identify key opportunities for improvement across the site.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
Manage and mentor a diverse team ensuring alignment with business and customer goals and foster collaboration and strong working relationships with other teams to ensure cohesive, cross-functional execution.
Customer-Centred Experience Design:
Champion user-centred design, ensuring customer needs drive all design and optimisation efforts. Integrate user research, personas, journey mapping, and usability testing to deliver an intuitive, engaging shopping experience.
Drive Experimentation Culture:
Working with the team to design and run A/B and multivariate tests to optimise user experience and boost conversions. Use test data and insights to inform design and product decisions, driving continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Communication & Reporting:
Regularly report on CRO performance, UX improvements, and key project outcomes to senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals and highlighting the impact of design optimisations. Present strategic recommendations based on data analysis, customer feedback, and competitive research to inform ongoing business strategies.
