Main Responsabilities
As a UX Designer for John Deere located in Torreón Mexico, you will join the Manufacturing Engineering UX team and have the incredible opportunity to design digital experiences for our users. You will partner with other designers, researchers, product managers, and engineering managers to intentionally design unified experiences based on insights. In this position you will...

  • Deliver wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
  • Interpret quantitative and qualitative insights into high quality visual experiences.
  • Partner with other UX professionals to validate and test designs with users through usability testing methods.
  • Leverage and contribute to the Fuel Design System.


What Skills You Need

  • BS/BA with 0-2 years of demonstrated experience in UI and UX design.
  • MS/MA with 0 years of demonstrated experience in UI and UX design.
  • Experience with Figma or other equivalent design and rapid-prototyping tools.
  • Experience creating wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes.
  • Communication and presentation skills to effectively participate in design discussions.
  • A portfolio highlighting your design process and experience.
  • Experience incorporating branding and common design system components and guidelines into product experiences.


What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience leveraging or contributing to a Design system.
  • Continuous UX learning and certifications.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Ability to influence without authority and working with a variety of individuals.
  • Writing concise content, design guidelines, and standards.
  • Experience with capturing analytics and identifying insights.
  • Experience with accessibility design and guidelines.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, etc.


Education

  • Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent work experience in the following: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Usability, Graphic Arts, Digital Design , Industrial Design , Marketing, Human Factors or related discipline
