As a User/Market Research Lead at Kegmil, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our leading FSM SaaS product. Your expertise in market analysis, user research, and strategic feature rollout will ensure we stay ahead of industry trends and meet our customers' evolving needs. You will work closely with the product development team, sales, and marketing to drive the successful implementation and adoption of new features and improvements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Market and User Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and threats. Perform user research to understand customer needs, pain points, and usage patterns. Translate insights into actionable product recommendations.
  • Feature Development Collaboration: Work closely with the product development team to prioritize feature development based on research findings. Ensure features align with market demands and customer expectations.
  • Feature Rollout Leadership: Lead the process of rolling out new features to customers, including planning, coordination with marketing and sales teams, and execution. Oversee beta testing with select customers and gather feedback for iterative improvement.
  • Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers to foster feedback loops and early adoption of new features. Serve as a bridge between customers and the product development team.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data from various sources (market data, user feedback, product analytics) to inform decision-making. Prepare and present reports on research findings, feature adoption, and market trends to senior management.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a unified approach to product strategy and implementation. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Market Research, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in market research, user research, or a similar role in the SaaS or tech industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate insights and recommendations clearly.
  • Experience leading feature rollouts or product launches, with a track record of successful implementation and adoption.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of the FSM sector and its unique challenges and opportunities is highly desirable.
