Position: Logistics Analyst I
Overview: The United States Army Security Assistance Command (USASAC) oversees the Army Foreign Military Sales (FMS) initiative and serves as the Executive Agent for the Army Security Assistance Program. As a Major Subordinate Command under the U.S. Army Materiel Command, USASAC operates across multiple locations. This contract provides Programmatic Support Services for Security Assistance (SA), FMS, and international programs, supporting U.S. Army-managed weapon systems and associated equipment throughout the entire FMS Life Cycle, from Case Development to Case Closure. The successful candidate will assist USASAC by conducting research, providing recommendations, and analyzing FMS case development and execution to meet customer requirements. This role requires experience with security assistance management procedures, weapon systems, technical coordination, cost and schedule management, and risk mitigation to ensure the timely delivery of operational and supportable systems.
Responsibilities:
- Analysis and detailed planning and execution of logistics support including material goods, personnel, operational maintenance, and repair of systems throughout their life cycles.
- Assist with conducting feasibility analysis, requirements determination, and policy standards/procedures development in support of logistics planning.
- Apply critical thinking, and communication skills in support of demand planning, transportation support, building customer relationships, and improving customer satisfaction.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of two (2) years of logistical experience is required.
- Type of experience necessary includes two (2) years of task related technical experience.
- Experience in either logistic support planning, material fielding, or sustainment support for systems, major end items, supply, or maintenance organization required.
- Minimum Education: Associate degree in such disciplines as Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Contract Management, Business Law, Economics, Strategic Studies, Foreign Policy, International Studies, Political Science, Liberal Arts, Education, or other related technical, or professional disciplines.
- Active Interim Secret Clearance or above is required at the time of hire.
