Description and Requirements
Position Summary
- Enables comprehensive security risk preparedness and response process's, building resiliency capabilities for the organization to cope with various levels of threats, incidents and crisis situations that jeopardize personnel, assets, operations and interests
- Engage with Global Resilience team members and IT teams to define our systems applications and systems needs
- Gather and document functional and non-functional requirements for key areas of Global Resilience. (BC, DR, Testing, etc.)
- Analyze current resilience capabilities and identify gaps in IT systems and bring forth recommendations for solutions for respective areas.
- Ensure requirements align with resilience objectives, goals and regulatory requirements and industry best practices
Job Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with IT infrastructure, other key business partners compliancy and regional teams to align with resiliency initiatives and our Strategy
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams translating requirements into IT solutions
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, discussions to capture needs of team members as the portfolio evolves
- Present Analysis, recommendations, and roadmaps to appropriate GR team members
- Work with IT system architects and other IT product owners that support business continuity strategies within Corporate systems
- Understand IT solutions that comply with regulations such as DORA, GDPR, SOC2, etc.
- Work with GR governance teams to continue to help identify metrics to measure the effectiveness of GR applications
- Define and document GR enhancements and change requirements
- Document testing requirements including DR/Failover exercises for our internal applications (xMAtters, Fusion, GR portal)
- Support IT teams in implementing and validating solutions through UAT
- Provide training, SOP's and documentation to ensure teams understand system capabilities and response procedures
- Monitor and asses the effectiveness of systems - recommend improvements
- Identify emerging risks based on evolving IT aspects of regulations
- Collaborate and participate in GR third party system vendor conversations to ensure support is satisfactory
- Create presentations, communicate with stakeholders efficiently and act independently without assistance
Education, Technical Skills & Other Critical Requirement
Education
- IT Graduate
- Experience in industry risk assessment and business resilience processes
- Security risk management Certification in a Security Risk management field
Experience
(In Years)
- Total of 9 years of Experience with atleast 5 years in Global Resiliency
- 5+ years of Handson experience in creating Functional and Non Functional Requirement Documents
- Hands on work experience on Disaster Recovery
- Must process problem solving, planning, and analytical skills to drive continuous improvements
- Experience in business continuity, risk management, or a related area, preferably in a global organization. Experience in process analysis, project management, or operations is beneficial
- Work independently, conduct meetings and handle stakeholders
Technical Skills
- Familiarity with business continuity management software, risk management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Knowledge of IT systems and their role in resilience is a plus
Other Critical Requirements Like Voice/ Non-Voice for Insurance Ops
- Knowledge of relevant resilience frameworks (e.g., ISO 22301, BCI Good Practice Guidelines).
