Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Cyber and Technology E&O Underwriting Product Manager to be out technical leader at Twin Maples Specialty (This is not an IT position). The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the cyber insurance market, strong underwriting expertise, and a proven track record of driving business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and implement technical expertise, training and profitability strategies for  segments of the the Cyber and Technology E&O products.
  • Identify market trends, opportunities, and threats to inform underwriting strategy.
  • Develop and maintain underwriting guidelines, rating plans, appetite strategies in order to deliver long term profitable growth .
  • Collaborate with senior management to align the division’s goals with the overall company objectives.

Underwriting Excellence:

  • Oversee the underwriting of Cyber & Technology E&O policies to ensure profitability and manage risk.
  • Develop and implement underwriting guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to underwriting best practices and regulatory requirements.

Business Development:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, clients, and other key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute strategies to drive growth.

Operational Management:

  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze underwriting performance metrics to drive operational excellence.

Risk Management:

  • Oversee the assessment and management of risks associated with Cyber & Technology E&O products.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the Cyber insurance industry
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful underwriting strategies.
  • Strong understanding of underwriting principles and risk management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and team members.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
