Position Description
Bertram Capital is seeking undergraduate students to join the firm’s investment team for this upcoming summer. The ideal individual is ready to learn and contribute in meaningful ways. Interns will work on a small team and will be exposed to a spectrum of private equity investing work streams including evaluation of new platform investments, identification and execution of add-on acquisitions, investment thesis development, portfolio management, and deal execution.
This internship is 8-10 weeks full time from June – August 2025. Exact start and end dates will be finalized closer to the internship. Interns must be in the San Francicsco Bay Area for this opportunity.
Compensation
The expected salary range for this internship is: $12,000- $18,000. Offered salary may be based on a variety of factors including skills, experience, and qualifications for the role.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in an undergraduate degree program
- Minimum 3.5 GPA or equivalent and high ACT/SAT scores preferred
- General understanding of financial statements, modeling and capital structure
- Strong analytical skills, strategic insight, industry perspective and intellectual curiosity
- Self-starter with excellent oral communication skills
- Demonstrated experience working as a productive member of a team
- High proficiency with MS Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
