As the Ultrasound Digital Sales Manager, you'll be at the forefront of driving growth and innovation in the healthcare industry. This home-office-based role in Germany offers you the opportunity to shape the future of Verisound Solutions, including Collaboration, Fleet, and Reporting, by leading a dynamic team of product sales specialists, application engineers, installation field engineers, and professional services engineers.

Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Select, train, and develop a high-performing team to optimize effectiveness. Lead cross-functional activities to maximize commercial strength and growth opportunities.
  • Sales and Margin Management: Drive quarterly order, sales, and margin forecasts. Enhance sales and order funnel management processes with strong commercial excellence mechanisms.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers up to the executive level in DACH and Eastern Europe, ensuring customer satisfaction and account retention.
  • Event Coordination: Lead and coordinate key events such as product launches, virtual/on-site congresses, and educational seminars/courses.
  • Strategic Growth: Collaborate with the International Commercial & Strategy Director and the International Sales Operations Director to develop growth strategies, service/subscription content, and promotional strategies for the product and services portfolio.
  • Sales Coverage: Ensure optimal sales coverage in each region, review sales team performance, and drive improvements.
  • Product Development: Work closely with the Global Product Team to push for product releases that support customer satisfaction and market growth opportunities.
  • Cultural Leadership: Foster a culture of GE HealthCare Values, Integrity, and teamwork. Drive cross-modality teamwork to maximize sales for all P&Ls.
  • Leadership Team Collaboration: As a member of the International Senior Leadership Team and the DACH Ultrasound Leadership Team, ensure seamless teamwork with the Sales Operations team and other channels to provide total customer satisfaction.

Your Profile:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in business, MedTech, and/or IT-related field
  • Experience: Significant sales management experience with a proven history of business development, strategic selling, and negotiation of software solutions in the healthcare market
  • Market Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Healthcare IT Market in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Eastern Europe
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to influence and collaborate with senior-level management teams within an international organization. Experience managing a large P&L
  • Sales Process: Experience interfacing with internal team members and external customers as part of a solution-based sales process
  • Inclusive Leadership: Inclusive leadership style that builds a connection to the workforce through personal involvement and trust
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Business development experience with a demonstrated ability to energize, develop, and build a strong sales force
  • Communication Skills: Ability to present up to CXO levels, communicate with influence in fluent German and English, and synthesize complex issues into clear and simple messages
  • Travel: Willingness and ability to travel within the region (50%+ of the time)

Desired Characteristics:

  • Advanced Degree: Master's degree in Business Administration or Computer Science
  • Technical Background: Understanding of .NET, C, C++, Qt, and SQL code, and IT standards and interfaces in the healthcare market (e.g. DICOM, HL7) are a big plus
