Job Description

The UK Channel Marketing Manager will play a crucial role in driving Cricut's growth in the UK through the development and execution of a tailored channel marketing strategy. The role involves 80% strategy and execution in the UK market, as well as 20% strategic leadership and collaboration with international markets to ensure cohesive marketing efforts across regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Channel Strategy Development

    • Develop and execute a comprehensive channel marketing strategy that is specifically tailored to the unique dynamics of the UK market.
    • Analyse market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive activity to identify new opportunities for growth.
    • Support the International team in developing and executing marketing solutions for physical retail, ensuring alignment across regions.
  • Partnership Management

    • Maintain strong relationships with key distribution partners in the UK, including retailers, distributors, and strategic partners.
    • Collaborate with partners to co-create marketing plans that align with Cricut's overall brand and business goals, ensuring mutual success.
  • Campaign Planning and Execution

    • Lead the planning and execution of targeted co-marketing campaigns with channel partners, ensuring campaigns are tailored to local market preferences.
    • Develop attractive and effective marketing and promotional materials for the UK market, enhancing visibility and consumer engagement.
  • Lead Generation and Sales Support

    • Drive region-specific lead generation programs to increase brand awareness and sales in the UK.
    • Work closely with retail partners to maximize reach and impact, providing training and resources to support product promotion and sales efforts.
  • Market Analysis and Reporting

    • Use data analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of channel marketing programs, providing insights for continuous improvement.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to the UK market and adjust strategies as necessary to ensure optimal performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Collaborate with consumer and digital marketing teams, sales, and other cross-functional teams to ensure the consistent and effective implementation of marketing initiatives across the UK market.
  • Management of Agencies & External Field Teams

    • Manage and steer Marketing & Retail Agencies and external Field Teams, ensuring efficient operations and consistent execution of marketing strategies.
    • Provide necessary resources, training, and regular updates to agencies and teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Budget Management

    • Plan and track the UK Channel Marketing budget, ensuring proper allocation of resources to achieve marketing objectives while maintaining cost efficiency.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA a plus)
  • At least 5 years of experience in channel marketing, with a deep understanding of retail environments and consumer products
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful channel marketing strategies, including campaign planning, lead generation, and sales support
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform decision-making and optimize marketing initiatives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Experience in managing marketing budgets and ensuring cost-efficient execution of campaigns
  • Self-starter with a proactive, results-driven approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with the UK retail landscape, especially in the DIY, craft, and consumer goods sectors
  • Authorized to work in the UK, and living within 1-2 hours from London
