Job Responsibilities:
- Safely operate the transfer deck, load charges, and receive chemicals.
- Enter material and treatment requirements into the computer system.
- Monitor and mix chemicals to achieve the required concentrations.
- Maintain records for all treated materials.
- Ensure the final product meets customer specifications.
- Communicate daily with Quality Control (QC) regarding treatment results.
- Maintain a clean and orderly working environment.
- Ensure all tasks abide by SHE policies.
- Handle and store hazardous waste properly.
- Enter confined spaces to assist with repairs and cleaning.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to diagnose and repair plant issues.
- Perform other duties as required to maintain the facility's operations.
- Be able to obtain a pesticide license.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic math skills are essential.
- Must be medically able to wear a full-face respirator.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to set priorities and analyze problems.
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a chemical treatment or similar industrial environment.
- Knowledge of SHE policies and hazardous waste handling.
- Certification in confined space entry.
