Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Proposal Writer to join our team, with the flexibility to be based in either Dallas or Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in crafting compelling proposals, particularly within the banking or financial services sector. This role is critical to supporting Texas Capital’s business growth by responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from both government agencies and corporate clients. A key aspect of this role involves leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to enhance the quality and efficiency of our proposal responses. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint is essential, and familiarity with Loopio, our proposal management software, is highly preferred. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to play a key part in shaping Texas Capital’s proposal strategy while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proposal Development: Lead the end-to-end process of developing, writing, and editing high-quality proposals in response to RFPs from government agencies and corporate clients. Ensure that all proposals are tailored to meet the specific requirements and objectives outlined in each RFP.
- AI Integration: Utilize AI tools to streamline the proposal writing process, enhance content quality, and improve response times. Stay updated on emerging AI technologies and incorporate them effectively into proposal strategies.
- Content Management: Maintain and update the proposal content library within Loopio, ensuring that all information is current, accurate, and easily accessible for future proposals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, product development, legal, and compliance, to gather necessary information and insights for proposal content.
- Quality Assurance: Review and edit proposal documents for clarity, coherence, and compliance with client requirements and company standards. Ensure that all proposals are free from errors and inconsistencies.
- Presentation Development: Create engaging and visually appealing presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint to support proposal submissions and client meetings.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in proposal writing, preferably within the banking or financial services industry. Experience with government RFPs is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint is required. Familiarity with Loopio or similar proposal management software is highly preferred.
- AI Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools in the proposal writing process, including content creation, tone adjustment, and task automation.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to convey complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with various stakeholders.
