Team mission

Our mission is to manage cash efficiently, boost earnings through smart investments, and make payments smooth, always improving how we work to make the most of our financial resources.
Based at our Berlin headquarters, you will be part of our Treasury team, playing a key role in ensuring that our financial strategies align with our rapid growth and dynamic environment.

You will:

• Drive the development and implementation of innovative risk management strategies, including effective hedging techniques, to support our business goals while balancing risk mitigation.
• Run reporting in the treasury and payments area, including performance and regulatory aspects, and provide actionable insights through detailed reporting metrics.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments for the entire GetYourGuide group, focusing on FX and interest rate exposures, payment success rates, credit ratings, and covenant monitoring.
• Manage treasury and risk-related projects, leveraging technology and data analytics to optimize processes and reporting systems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with diverse teams, to integrate risk considerations into product design and infrastructure scaling.
• Serve as the point of contact and center of expertise for financial risk implications, facilitating strategic decisions across the company.

Who you are

• Experienced in treasury, risk, and reporting management, with a strong background in developing and implementing risk (including hedging) strategies, ideally within a fast-paced FinTech, bank or financial institution.
• Competence in payment processes and systems is a plus, enhancing your ability to successfully manage regulatory reporting activities in the changing payments landscape.
• Strategically minded, you leverage digitalization and automation opportunities in processes, adopting a risk-prudent approach to regulatory challenges.
• Exceptional communication skills with a knack for translating complex concepts into clear, actionable strategies.
• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking, with resilience and commitment to excellence.
• Proficiency in MS Office and G Suite, particularly Excel and Google Sheets, is essential. Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and Treasury Management Systems (TMS) is a significant advantage.
• Fluent in English, with German as a plus.
• Receptive and eager to contribute to our vibrant and successful Treasury team.
