Treasury Associate IND

This position will support Global Treasury Operations by ensuring proper system access control through effective partnership with system users. Detailed understanding and analysis of corporate bank account fees will be utilized to ensure budget compliance as well as thoughtfulness of how to reduce fees in daily processes. Also in scope for support will be for departmental projects such as data and documentation gathering and testing at the guidance of Leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as one of two primary Security Administrators for all Corporate bank portals and Treasury systems including acting as the key liaison with internal business and external partners on troubleshooting issues related to user access.
• Monitor Treasury systems at the beginning of each day to ensure functionality is stable and proactively open vendor tickets in non-BAU situations.
• Analyze corporate banking services being used by Ameriprise Financial and its subsidiaries using a vendor-based system.  Ensure accuracy of billing, analyze usage for accuracy and ensure prompt payment of invoices. 
• Participate in and contribute to departmental projects (e.g., business continuity process and disaster recovery exercises, system upgrades, periodic system access reviews and audits of systems).
• Cross-train for daily cash management functions to serve as an effective backup to the team as needed

Required Qualifications

• Detailed understanding and analysis of corporate bank account fees.
• Excellent Microsoft office skills, particularly in Excel and Word.
• 1-4 years of relevant experience

• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills. 
• Strong work ethic, highly organized, motivated, and self-directed. 
• Ability to collaborate well as interactions with internal business partners and vendors is required. 
• Strong analytical skills with a high attention to details.
