Travel & Expenses Assistant
We are currently recruiting for a Travel and Expenses Administrator to join our Finance team here at Harrods.
About the Role
As a Travel and Expenses Administrator, your primary responsibility is the management of expense claims processing and travel costs. You will also administer user access across various travel-related systems within Harrods. You'll oversee the verification and processing of expense claims, ensuring compliance with company policies and financial guidelines. Additionally, you'll manage user accounts on travel systems, providing support and troubleshooting as needed.
You will also be responsible for:
- Expense claims management: Efficiently process and verify expense claims, ensuring compliance with company policies and financial guidelines.
- Travel administration: Processing travel invoices and report on adherence to the Travel Policy.
- User access administration: Managing user accounts across travel-related systems, offering support and troubleshooting.
- Non-merchandise purchasing: Assisting the purchase order (PO) and invoicing teams with supplier payments.
- Compliance enforcement: Ensuring compliance with company policies and financial regulations during expense processing and travel management.
- Support and improvement: Providing user support and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Communication and reporting: Communicating effectively with stakeholders and prepare reports tracking spending and compliance metrics.
Depending on your role, you may be fully on-site or have a mix of on-site and home working – this is what we refer to as ‘Hybrid’. Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs.

- Ethical conduct: You will uphold a high level of integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information and enforcing compliance requirements.
- Teamwork and collaboration: You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals and enhance operational efficiency.
