As a Vice President in our Transfer Pricing team within Corporate Tax Hub India Team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm.
Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the transfer pricing (TP) compliance and documentation vertical within the Corporate Tax Hub India Team.
  • Collaborate with and work under the supervision of senior global corporate tax team members for transfer pricing-related matters for businesses and entities.
  • Aim to build out a Centre of Excellence for Transfer Pricing in line with the senior tax leadership mandate, working with the Global TP team and the India Corporate Tax Hub Team Lead to oversee onshore governance and team oversight.
  • Oversee the daily function of the domain and work closely with relevant tax team members and other partners, including finance, business management, and operations teams, on transfer pricing issues. Assist senior team members in centralizing and standardizing the TP process across countries and regions.
  • Stay updated on tax technical developments-law, jurisprudence, and practices-and endeavor to keep the leadership team informed with relevant updates.
  • Ensure seamless assistance to the Tax Planning team with the following Transfer Pricing activities :
    1. Prepare and coordinate the annual Global Line of Business Files, Master File, Local Files, and Country by Country Reports, including reviewing benchmarking, conducting functional analysis interviews, and report writing to feed into the TP documentation of the Group.
    2. Analyze and review tax transfer pricing data (CBCR - Country by Country Reporting) and related party transaction flows.
    3. Initiate reviews of intragroup/intercompany dealings.
    4. Provide Transfer Pricing advisory capabilities with respect to JPM India entities and review and offer technical input into Line of Business matters, New Business Initiative Assessments (NBIAs), Change Management (CM), and other reviews as required.
    5. Assist with CBCR & Master filing reporting for JPM India entities.
  • Manage a team of energetic professionals and ensure mandates are met timely and accurately as per the internal and external timelines set. Create opportunities for learning and growth for the team's career development.


Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
• Experienced professional with minimum 10 years in tax transfer pricing role within a Corporate/MNC tax function or Big 4 consultancy firm.• Relevant India Tax experience in Transfer Pricing and an understanding of the complexities of India Tax Law and Regulations • The candidate is expected to provide thought leadership to proactively suggest options and opportunities to meet the leadership vision• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enthusiastic, self motivated • Work well individually and in a team. Strong team player, multi-tasker and able to work under pressure in a dynamic business environment with strong Team leadership skills essential
