Training Supervisor - Global Supply Chain

We are positioned forward at all the network locations providing direct training & development support to our Supply Chain teams. We are looking for a proven leader to influence cross-functional teams responsible for development, standard work, and championing the Wayfair culture in Lathrop CA. The candidate must be a collaborative problem solver, strategic planner, one who can build & manage high performing teams in a fast-paced, rapidly challenging, and fluid environment.
Shift - 730 am to 4:30 pm
Schedule: What You'll Do
- Coordinate, lead, and execute all training functions within the Lathrop CA including new hire orientation, job function training, and continuous development.
- Organize, develop, and lead a team of exceptional and dedicated Training Ambassadors within the Warehouse Associate population; focus on improving safety, quality, and retention.
- Lead various training sessions as needed, including but not limited to: New Hire Fundamentals, Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) training, Quality & Process (Current & New SOP) Training.
- Provide professional development programming for warehouse associates and leaders.
- Record, track, and drive compliance on all training initiatives and report out on training metrics using Learning Management System.
- Partner with Global Supply Chain Training & Engagement, Safety, and Operations teams to develop and improve training resources, strategies, and processes.
- Support Global Supply Chain Training, Safety, and Operations by championing new training programs, processes, and initiatives; provide upward feedback and share observations with business owners to improve alignment, compliance, quality, and engagement.
- Manage priorities, set goals, and partner strategically with stakeholders to align network training initiatives with the local site’s operational and training needs.
- Flex to perform work and lead by example on the warehouse floor alongside department leaders and associates during high volume seasons or as needed
What You’ll Need
- 3+ years of experience in Training, Learning & Development and/or Organizational Leadership OR 4 year degree in relevant field, required
- Experience in Operations or Supply Chain preferred
- Raymond and/or Crown forklift/powered industrial vehicle certifications preferred. Willingness to be trained on multiple vehicle types required.
- Leadership skills and the ability to make decisions with little or no guidance based on policies or best practices.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication to effectively communicate with all stakeholder levels.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A seek-to-understand mindset and teamwork strategies that will allow you to connect with and influence diverse groups of people, including your training audience and stakeholder network.
Salary: The salary range for this position is $67,415-$73,720 however, base pay offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
