A Day in the Life
Are you passionate about healthcare, patient education, and making a meaningful impact in the field of diabetes? Join our dynamic Diabetes Team as a Training & Education Intern and gain hands-on experience while supporting healthcare professionals and patients. This internship offers a unique opportunity to deepen your knowledge in diabetes care and contribute to initiatives that improve patient outcomes.
Internship details:
- Start date: March
- Duration: 6 months
- Working hours: 40 h/week with flexibility (exams and holiday period)
- Working model: hybrid/ onsite
- Based in Abha but could cover if needed (Khamis Mushait, Jizan & Najran)
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Provide support and education to doctors, nurses, and patients about diabetes management and our products, addressing their questions and needs.
- Participate in patient onboarding sessions and educational campaigns to improve diabetes awareness and care.
- Manage consignment inventory in hospitals and ensure timely replenishment of used items.
- Assist our logistics team during delivery processes to ensure smooth operations.
- Travel within the local region to extend education and support efforts.
Required Knowledge:
- Recent graduate or in the final year of studies in healthcare, nutrition, health education, or a related field
- Fluent in English and Arabic
- Good knowledge of MS office (Power Point, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- Strong Organization Skills
- Customer Focus
- Eager to Learn & Develop
Would be a plus:
- Experience working with patients
- Interest in Diabetes. Additional training or certifications in diabetes care are a strong plus.
- Driving license
