We currently have an opening for a Trainer to join our amazing team where you'll be on the front lines contributing to awesome member experiences supporting our Cold Storage team! That same experience applies to co-workers, the community, and our vendors.


Schedule

Sunday - Wednesday: 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM. (overtime as needed)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Train individuals in receiving, picking, packing, quality control, slotting, loading, and replenishment functions
  • Responsible for Evaluating & Auditing employees in training and communicate any issues identified
  • Training and development of warehouse staff by teaching and enforcing SOP's
  • Equipment training and Certification safety and operation
  • Ability to work various shifts based on staffing or FC business needs
  • Good critical thinking skills with the ability to see the “big picture”
  • Identify training needs and communicate them to operations
  • Document the training by completing all required paperwork
  • Act professionally and remain focused while working
  • Follow and promote all safety rules, maintain a safe warehouse
  • Provide company tour to new employees
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Perform cleaning activities as required
  • Performs other duties assigned by Supervisor to enhance fulfillment operation
  • Must be willing to work in a cold / freezer work environment
  • Must be comfortable working in a multi-temperature environment ranging from -20 degrees to 40 degrees Fahrenheit and outside ambient temperatures (including heat and cold)

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Prior logistics, fulfillment and/or industry experience (preferred)
  • 3+ recent years of experience operating equipment such as, Forklift, Reach Truck, and Electric Pallet Jack
  • 2 years of experience training in a team-oriented workplace (preferred)
  • Good interpersonal relationship building, employee coaching and development skills
  • Honest with the highest integrity, dedicated to quality and high standards
  • Supportive of values following policies and procedures, who has good critical thinking skills and the ability to see the "big picture"
  • Positive, ambitious, energetic and hardworking with a strong work ethic, who is well organized and has an eye for detail
  • A team player valuing co-worker's opinions treating everyone with courtesy and respect
  • Must be able to communicate effectively and take direction
  • Flexible schedule, with the ability to work various shifts and ability to work overtime based on staffing or FC business needs
  • Ability to physically count and move products on shelves, racks, and pallets
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as inventory reports and operating procedures to ensure inventory is audited and accurate
  • Ability to coach and develop team members to achieve company goals and operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, frequently reaching with hands and arms, twisting, bending, stooping, squatting, lifting and carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.

  • Compensation Description - The starting hourly pay rate for this position is $20.00 per hour.
  • Rate of pay may increase over time based upon: skill, level of responsibility, additional duties, seniority, quantity or quality of production or other legitimate, business-related factors.
