Job Description

The 24-month International Graduate Programme at BEUMER is the ideal career start for university graduates seeking comprehensive training with opportunities for international assignments.

In this trainee position, you will independently take on responsibilities for various topics in our Sales Area.

Start your career with the BEUMER Group as a Trainee/Global Graduate (m/f/d) in Logistic Systems. At least two practical, in-depth assignments will take place at our international subsidiaries, where you will not only gain professional experience but also build your network within the BEUMER Group. In addition, you will be supported by a mentor throughout the program. Your responsibilities will include:

  • You will support the sales team in identifying potential leads and opportunities in the market
  • You will assist in maintaining strong relationships with existing customers and support efforts to foster long-term partnerships
  • You will help monitor competitors and keep track of trends and developments in the market to inform sales strategies
  • You will collaborate with the sales team to ensure proposals meet customer expectations and provide necessary documentation for those proposals
  • You will participate in the acquisition of new projects by assisting with the development of sales strategies and value propositions
  • You will engage with customers to gather feedback and understand their needs and expectations
  • You will assist in the coordination of the sales process, including preparation for stage gate meetings (lead, target, quotation)
  • You will contribute to the preparation of commercial proposals and ensure alignment with customer requirements
  • You will take the initiative to learn about the company’s products and processes and share your knowledge with colleagues
  • You will aid in the smooth transition of projects to the execution teams after the contract signing

Qualifications

  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Engineering or a relevant commercial background
  • You are eager to learn about identifying customer needs and translating them into optimal material handling solutions
  • You are interested in gaining experience with contract negotiations related to the technical aspects of material handling systems
  • You are willing to support the technical part of proposals by assisting with technical and pricing activities
  • You are enthusiastic about learning how to organize and lead a confident handover to a project execution team
  • You are goal-oriented and possess a strong technical mindset while demonstrating the ability to act with authority when needed
  • You have a high degree of initiative and enjoy working in an international team
  • You approach challenges with confidence, ensuring smooth problem-solving
  • Your empathy and understanding of others' perspectives allow you to build strong, positive relationships
  • You are fluent in German and English, have international experience that prepares you for diverse environments at BEUMER Group, and are willing to travel internationally as needed
