Job Description
Business Unit:
The Dealing Team are responsible for the execution of all trades for the Firm. Therefore, the team are involved in a broad range of asset classes including: UK equities, international equities, fixed income, derivatives, structured products, exchange traded funds, unit trusts, hedge funds and foreign exchange.
Brief Role Objective:
This role will assist the team with dealing off-exchange orders and rebalancing models via several platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Editing models and rebalancing for Model Portfolio Service
- Cash Funds aggregation, execution and pricing
- Monitor Figaro Front Office trade blotters for EAM trades
- Trade execution on SmartBanking Pro for LGT EAM orders
- Create required trades within internal portfolio management system.
- Maintain core investment models based on instructions from LGT investment teams.
- Carry out checks and controls to ensure accuracy of trading and model management.
- EAM platform trading, incepting deals on various EAM provider platforms
- Non-LGT EAM pricing on Figaro, contacting EAM providers for confirmations and valuations
- Book FX trades to relevant RISK books and maintain orderflow spreadsheets
- Produce and review Daily Crest checking report
- Check and log execution-only contract notes
- Contracting and trade amendments in Figaro Back Office
- Cover for model management and central dealing functions
- General administrative tasks for the Dealing Team
Requirements
Key Skills, Technical Requirements and Other Attributes:
- Good working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suit of products, especially excel
