Location: GSK HQ, London

The ICT solution delivers Intercompany Transfer Pricing, Actuals Reporting, Standard Setting, and Standard Maintenance for the GSK Group. The TPF C&C solution delivers, B2B billing accounting, tolling, Purchase Price accounting, EGOL reporting. The processes are highly complex and bespoke, with data and reporting accountabilities across the organization, including GSC, LOCs, Hubs, and Trading Partner Finance.

The ICT & TPF C&C GPO Director is pivotal in driving the Inter-Company Profit process dimension across end-to-end Supply Chain processes and delivery locations, ensuring an enterprise-wide and cross-functional approach.

With the S4H project announcement, this role will be involved in the design, testing, and migration of processes onto S4H.
 


Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Role Responsibilities:

  • Implement ICT and TPF C&C in S/4 Hana as part of the ERP Evolution project.

  • Support BAU queries related to process issues.

  • Lead a team of 4/5 direct reports.

  • Document interim and final processes for E2E ICT & TPF C&C activities in S/4 Hana.

  • Collaborate with Tech, Accenture (implementation partner), and the BAU team.

  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for ICT & TPF C&C processes, which may change over time. Current processes include Annual Transfer Pricing, Standard Setting, Standard Maintenance, Actuals Reporting, and Multiple TPF C&C processes specific to Trading Partner entities.

  • Identify opportunities for technical development in ICT & TPF C&C and build business cases for change governance.
     


Accountabilities:

Process Strategic Review:

  • Continually review and challenge ICT & TPF C&C end-to-end processes to maximize business benefits.

  • Strengthen governance and risk management for inter-company profit tracking and TPF C&C reporting.

  • Identify opportunities to transform functionality to deliver tangible benefits to the business.

  • Interact with key stakeholders to understand current and emerging business requirements.

  • Support identification of application rationalization opportunities.

Process Design:

  • Assess the process impact of business change and propose appropriate changes.

  • Develop expert understanding of ICT & TPF C&C processes as designed.

  • Map processes in scope and document agreed variations, including RACI and key controls.

  • Identify opportunities for process convergence, standardization, and productivity improvement across all ICT & TPF C&C processes and global users.

  • Participate in key business change initiatives as the voice of the process.

  • Define critical business processes required for ICT & TPF C&C business continuity and document a business process continuity plan.

Process Performance:

  • Compare assigned processes to 'Best in Class' using lead and lag metrics, and develop improvement plans where required.

  • Measure ongoing metrics and compare to internal and external benchmarks.

  • Recommend targets for continual improvement.

  • Lead projects or initiatives to improve processes, monitor progress, and ensure delivery.

Process Advocacy and Governance:

  • Act as the Inter-Company Profit process & TPF C&C system expert, driving end-to-end process thinking across Supply Chain processes.

  • Contribute to the evolution of IPT systems and processes to simplify and standardize operations.

  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of Inter-company profit tracking and reporting processes.

  • Display experience in process design, improvement, and standardization across multiple systems and organizational boundaries.

  • Showcase experience in Reporting and Accounting, working in large, complex organizations, and effective communication skills.

  • Exhibit ability to create robust business cases, drive change, and implement transformation.

  • Achieve results through effective collaboration with others.

Required Abilities:

  • Communicate and partner effectively with senior management (e.g., VPs in Finance).

  • Network internally and externally effectively.

  • Advocate and influence at senior levels.

  • Simplify and communicate technically complex matters.

  • Expert-level problem-solving ability

  • Ability to work across global GSK organizations and influence the business to adopt a holistic approach

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to review complex supply chain issues and understand the impact on inter-company profit of any changes

  • Ability to manage and simplify complex systems in an organized process
