Who You Are:
Galaxy Digital is looking for a candidate to assist in the development and portfolio management of its asset management products. The role will focus on assisting in efficient trading, product growth, and the development of a robust capital markets process in line with the goals of the fund management business and product objective. In addition to learning how to surveil the digital asset ecosystem, the role will work closely with senior portfolio managers, sales, client services and operations as well as working across the firm as needed. This individual will help us further enhance current capabilities in all areas of fund management of Galaxy Asset Management. The role will include helping to build out the optimization of current processes while providing the selected candidate the opportunity for career growth in a new and exciting space within a cutting-edge asset management business.
What You’ll Do:
- Execute and monitor cryptocurrency, equity, fixed income, and derivative trades, ensuring accuracy while adhering to risk and compliance protocols.
- Partner with product development, portfolio management, and business development teams to enhance existing offerings and support the launch of new products, including conducting backtests to evaluate the effectiveness of trading strategies.
- Respond to internal ad hoc requests from sales, research, and product development teams.
What We’re Looking For:
- 3-5 years of buy-side or sell-side trading experience with a proven track record of executing and managing orders.
- Experience with fund mechanics, pricing, premium/discount, liquidity, and product development in the public or 40 act ecosystem.
- Multi-asset knowledge including crypto, equities, ETFs, derivatives (futures, swaps, etc.), liquid products and/or FX.
- Strong technical skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg; familiarity with Python is a plus.
- Ability to multi-task, handle ambiguity, collaborate with others, research, and analyze topics upon request, be pro-active.
- Ability to maintain responsive and effective communication to support seamless trade execution, rapid issue resolution, and alignment on market activity across internal teams and external counterparties.
- Team player willing to adjust in a new and fast environment.

The base salary ranges included below will be commensurate with candidate experience, expertise and local market. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise. At Galaxy, we maintain a total compensation philosophy which consists of a competitive base salary, annual bonus, and equity incentives.
Base Salary Range
$140,000—$160,000 USD
