Job Summary
As a Trade Lifecycle Manager - Vice President within J.P. Morgan's Private Banking Operations, you will play a pivotal role in promoting excellence and efficiency in wealth management services. You will oversee OTC Derivatives operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance. This role provides an opportunity to maximize team capacity through effective resource planning, make objective decisions on operational issues, and deliver the firm's business strategy effectively.
Job Responsibilities
- Manage workflow with accurate trade processing of OTC Derivatives.
- Develop understanding of local OTC Derivatives regulations.
- Own and escalate operational issues and compliance matters.
- Maximize team capacity through effective resource planning.
- Make objective decisions on operational issues.
- Ensure viable Business Continuity plans are in place.
- Provide leadership and communicate strategy changes.
- Establish governance and controls framework.
- Develop relationships with Business, Risk, and Compliance partners.
- Implement projects and review controls governance framework.
- Deliver firm's business strategy effectively.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Banking and Finance or related field.
- Minimum 9 years of operations experience in Trading Middle-Office.
- Exhibit strong communication and people management skills.
- Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Show ownership and accountability in dynamic environments.
- Learn new markets, products, and processes effectively.
- Build and maintain stakeholder relationships with integrity.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Familiarity with modern front-end technologies and cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of Tableau, Python, and Alteryx CORE certification.
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools.
- Understanding of financial markets and instruments.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Strong project management skills.
- Experience in a global financial services environment.
