Objectives

  • Expertise in the area of 3rd Party Vendor Onboarding and Risk Management focusing on APEX Analytix
  • Development of configuration according to scope definition and business priority-setting.
  • Proactively identifies technology solutions and changes needed on APEX Analytix and related products/solutions to meet business objectives, taking into account the implications of change on the organization and all stakeholders.
  • Provide support and bug fixes based on business requirement and prioritizing changes.


ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Provides technical and functional expertise in the area of Indirect Procurement specialising 3rd Party Onboarding and Risk Management (mainly APEX Analytix)
  • Manages complex Indirect Procurement applications throughout the application lifecycle including technical environments, Incident change, Problem and release management.
  • Establishes and manages the relationship with Finance, Procurement and all related risk management areas defined in the Third Party Risk Management Process
  • Manages requirements gathering, prioritization and negotiation with business stakeholders in order to ensure the total solution delivered meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Maintains and influences business process design; validates and interprets business needs by conducting feasibility studies and drafting business cases
  • Solves unique and complex problems with a broad impact on the business and interprets ways of prioritizing opportunities to streamline business and/or system processes
  • Understand the DevOps Process and SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle)
  • Perform configuration delivering the prioritized demand
  • Able to translate the down the business requirement /demand into technical specification.
  • Uses knowledge of business operations, investigates and identifies operational needs, problems and opportunities, and uses Business Process Mapping to phrase and manage requirements or organizational improvements.
  • Capable leadership to project team to deliver small-size and moderate complex system implementations, within cross-functional projects that allow the business to reach its strategic objectives in a cost-effective way.
  • Has authority and responsibility for a specific area of work, including technical, quality aspects and may represent the organisation.
  • Ensures technical documentation according to Takeda Quality Management System (QMS), Software Development Life Cycle, and Project Life Cycle standards.
  • Ensures delivered solutions are compliant with associated federal regulations (SOX, OFCCP, labor laws, GMP, GxP, GCP, etc.).
  • Establish relationships with relevant colleagues from Global Functions within the Global IT Organization and leads change in analysing and guiding on solutions within ongoing processes.


DIMENSIONS AND ASPECTS
Technical/Functional (Line) Expertise

  • Manages complex 3rd Party onboarding and Risk Management, mainly APEX Analytix throughout the application lifecycle including technical environments, change, and release management.
  • Understand the integration between APEX Analytix and any connected system
  • Uses knowledge of business operations, investigates and identifies operational needs, problems and opportunities, and uses Business Process Mapping to phrase and manage requirements or organizational improvements.
  • Ensures documentation according to Takeda Quality Management System (QMS), Software Development Life Cycle, and Project Life Cycle standards.
  • Deep expertise in configuration/customizing of APEX Analytix

  • Manages requirements gathering, prioritization, and negotiation with business stakeholders in order to ensure the total solution delivered meets or exceeds expectations.

  • Makes decisions that impact, the system configuration on APEX Analytix
  • Is a subject matter expert in the business area of expertise and actively shares emerging industry standards/trends with customers and peers.

  • Maintains and influences business process design; validates and interprets business needs by conducting feasibility studies and drafting business cases and use BPM Tooling
  • Establish relationships with relevant colleagues from Global Functions within the Global IT Organization and leads change in analysing and guiding on solutions within ongoing processes.

  • Ensures delivered solutions are compliant with associated federal regulations (SOX, OFCCP, labour laws, GMP, GxP, GCP, etc.).

  • Solves unique and complex problems with a broad impact on the business and interprets ways of prioritizing opportunities to streamline business and/or system processes.


EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Essential

  • Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 6 to 8 years of Technical and Functional Expertise in Vendor Onboarding and Risk Management related area/solution
  • Experience of at least 1 full life cycle project for environments like Vendor Onboarding and Risk Management related solution (e.g. Ariba Risk) from Blueprint, Realization, Migration, Cut-over, Training, Go-Live, Stabilization
  • Ability to write, speak and lead in the English language.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, business acumen with problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Professional in-depth knowledge of business processes in pharmaceutical industry within functional area.
  • Ability to prepare and execute business meetings virtual, face-to-face, cross functional, local or global to ensure meeting required deliverables.
  • Experience in communicating efficiently to business and IT leaders on content, context, process and decision making.
  • Knowledge of business and system solutions and experience with implementing applications.
  • Experience in Business Analysis
  • Experience in Stakeholder relationship management.
  • Experience in communicating complex information in a clear and engaging manner, adjust form and meetings to this and builds collaborative network of relationships in the business area and outside.
  • Experience in presenting on conferences and business meetings.

  • Experience in configuring other Risk Solution Systems
  • SAP Ariba integration


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Travel Requirements -

  • Access to transportation to attend meetings.
  • Ability to fly to meetings regionally and globally.
