Note Role Overview
Reporting to the CHRO, the Total Rewards Partner will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our global compensation and benefits programs.
This role will require someone who can navigate the complexities of international benefits, particularly in the US and UK, while providing strategic guidance on compensation practices to ensure market competitiveness.
You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including the People Operations group, to align programs with our organizational goals and company culture.
Strong stakeholder management skills are essential, as you will interact with diverse leaders and teams across the organization.
Note - we are a hybrid employer and require this person to be in our London Bridge office twice a week.
Key Responsibilities
Global Benefits Management
- Oversee benefits programs in key regions, primarily the US and UK, ensuring compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Manage annual benefits renewals, including health insurance plans, 401(k) plans, and other employee offerings.
- Partner with external vendors to negotiate contracts, drive cost efficiencies, and ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Monitor trends in global benefits to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
Compensation Strategy & Administration
- Lead compensation benchmarking efforts using tools like Radford and other market data sources.
- Develop and maintain salary leveling frameworks to ensure internal equity and market competitiveness.
- Collaborate with People Operations and leadership to align compensation strategies with business goals and employee value propositions.
- Provide data-driven recommendations on pay structures, promotions, and incentive programs.
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with internal leaders, including challenging stakeholders, to address concerns and balance competing priorities.
- Proactively provide strategic advice while maintaining professionalism and composure under pressure.
- Work collaboratively with the People Operations team to support broader people strategies and objectives.
Cultural Alignment & Team Collaboration
- Integrate into the existing team culture, contributing positively to our collaborative and people-focused environment.
- Work with empathy, adaptability, and the ability to build trust with colleagues across all levels.
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Knowledge
- Global Benefits Expertise:
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in managing benefits programs, with a strong focus on the US and UK markets.
- Proven track record of overseeing health insurance renewals, 401(k) plan administration, and vendor management.
Compensation Acumen:
- At least 5 years of experience in compensation, including salary benchmarking, salary leveling, and pay structure development.
- Hands-on experience using compensation tools and market data sources such as Radford (or similar).
Stakeholder Management:
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience collaborating with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to deliver strategic recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage challenging stakeholders, balancing assertiveness with diplomacy.
