Analog Devices Inc’s Wireless Software Group is seeking an experienced, versatile, and motivated software development engineer to join our global team of software engineers developing tools and applications that support our state-of-the-art line of products, products used in a variety of wireless communcations applications such as 5G broadband networking!
You will be positioned within a multi-site development team and work closely with system, analog, digital, verification, and customer application teams to deliver development and customer support software for wireless communications products. As a critical member of the team, you will participate and add value developing a range of tools from simple to very complex and are key to configuring and using our products, as well as supporting debug efforts and improving the customer experience. As an experienced member of this team you will be responsible for helping drive crucial architectural and technical decisions as well as mentoring and leading more junior engineers.
Essential Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate tools to support configuration, debugging, and integration of our wireless communications products, including configuration wizards and feature-rich graphical applications, on Windows and Linux systems
- Lead a team to deliver quality software.
- Understand requirements, develop detailed plan, and drive team to execute
- Follow coding standard and code documentation requirements.
- Participate in code reviews.
- Work as per Agile development flow
- Work in distributed development environment.
- Work with RF, analog, digital, and System Designers, FPGA Designers, Applications Engineers, and other software team members.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering required. MS preferred.
- 10 years of relevant experience in C#, .NET, and WPF/WinForms/AvaloniaUI
- Experience with SCM tools (GIT, SVN, Perforce, etc.)
- Knowledge of data structures, object-oriented programming, and design patterns
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills as they will be developing requirements and design documents
- Ability to work in distributed development environment
- Ability to produce high-quality work suitable for representing our company to our customers

- Strong leadership skills
- Experience with development on Windows and Linux
- Experience with AvaloniaUI
- Experience with Windows and Linux platforms
- Experience breaking high-level requirements down into small actionable tasks
- Experience developing and executing plans
- Experience with remote procedure protocols and network communcation
