As a Testing Associate within our CPCS Securities Services team, you will be responsible for providing Senior Business Testing Analysis for the Securities Services LOB in a cross-business, cross-functional project-based environment. You will have the opportunity to utilize your testing experience on other LOB's and support transformational Global initiatives within Cross Product Change Services. Your role will also involve supporting the strategic roll out of an automated testing solution.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide accurate testing estimates during daily scrum calls.
- Document and execute test scenarios by identifying specific scenarios and writing test scripts using Business Driven Development.
- Utilize test automation tools for efficient and timely end-to-end test execution, requiring previous experience in automated testing.
- Partner closely with Operations, Product, and Technology groups.
- Identify opportunities to accelerate and synergize testing processes for assigned projects and share information with team members for validation before implementation.
- Monitor and report testing defects and manage the re-testing process.
- Deputize for the Test Manager as necessary in project calls and communications with relevant colleagues.
- Validate and present test results for internal sign-off.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Apply functional and regression testing experience within the Financial Services industry.
- You must have 5+ years of experience
- Must hold at least a Bachelor's degree or above
- Demonstrate expertise in Agile project delivery methodology and adapt to evolving methodologies.
- Define requirements, document user stories, and execute test scripts with a strong understanding of testing processes.
- Solve problems by scoping and structuring complex issues, learning unfamiliar processes quickly, and providing timely remediation.
- Communicate effectively with team members, colleagues, senior leads, executives, and clients, providing clear updates.
- Manage multiple projects and personnel to meet stakeholder expectations, while building and nurturing relationships across business lines and locations.
- Utilize systemic data-driven reporting for program support and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft applications and data visualization tools like Tableau and Alteryx.
- Adapt to change and support effective change management within a dynamic environment
