We are looking for a Test Manager to join our Warsaw team in Global Validation and Test (V&T) Delivery Unit consisting of cross-located teams delivering high-quality testing services embedded into Configuration and Upgrade projects. Testing Services is a client-facing part of the SimCorp Global Managed Services organization.
What you will be responsible for
In this role, you are to support the planning, estimating, monitoring, and control of test activities carried out either by internal (Testing Services) or external (Client) team.

Be the Lead, work with standard approaches, identify when standard is not going to fit and find the optimal approach

Define Test Strategy per project in result of project analysis, test objectives, schedule, dependencies and risk – starting with template and applying test and domain knowledge, adapt template towards specific project conditions

Drive Test Planning activities – apply test and domain knowledge to be able to lead the creation of the detailed test plan, contribute to the identification of the testable scope and target test coverage, identify target test schedule in alignment with the project plan

Analysis of the implementation project artifacts (WBS, requirements, scope document, configuration documents, etc) with the goal of building a ‘helicopter view’ on the project scope & deriving conclusions on the related testing scope

Contribute to the effort estimation of the projects and identify the relevant resources required for the delivery

Organize test activities & lead test team (both internal & external) to ensure effective delivery – incl. establishing and maintenance of team collaboration / communication during the project delivery, establishing good delivery practices and maintaining them during the project (both with internal and external teams)

Drive & manage test activities and incident management activities to be able to report (agreed test metrics) to project stakeholders the current status ad-hoc and/or according to the reporting schedule

Progress reporting to project stakeholders

Execute monitor & control activities (involving internal & external teams during the incident management process)

Spot the delivery risks early and implement the mitigation plan/actions

Project closure activities

When Client executes the tests (Test Management service), facilitate incident management (review of submitted issues, dispatching to configuration team, following up on progress)

Stakeholder communication (both internal & external) from the project kick-off to the final reporting & closure – includes kick-offs, defect triage calls, workshops, reporting
What we value

Proficiency in the MS365 suite (Word, Excel, Teams including apps like Planner and Lists, Outlook). Knowledge of SharePoint and Power BI is beneficial.

Experience with Test Management / Incident Management Tools such as Azure DevOps Test Plans, Jira, Agility, HP ALM, etc.

ISTQB Advanced Level Test Management Certificate is highly regarded, along with a good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

PMP certification is an asset.

Financial domain knowledge: Understanding the client business or a a willingness to explore it.
