Test Engineer II

What you will do

This position will focus on new feature/component manual testing, as well as automation script development. This position requires the ability to work under minimal direction in collaboration with a Dev & QA team to perform manual and automation testing that meet defined system requirements.

How you will do it

Responsibilities will include

• Analyzing users stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
• Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
• Provides work estimates; plans and testing work to meet established objectives for project/system quality, reliability and performance.
• Experience in analyzing and understanding Business specifications, testing requirements, and developing Test cases, Test scripts, Test Scenarios.
• Analyzes the impact of changes on existing information products or systems and proposes solutions to minimize project/system risk.
• Must have knowledge of object oriented programming, along with requisite coding and debugging skills.
• Must have worked (minimum 1-2 years exp)on Selenium Web Automation using Java.
• Design and development skills in object oriented languages like JAVA and must have API Automation experience, Selenium etc.(JAVA)
• Involved in Manual testing, Integration testing and End to End testing of SOAP/REST web services.
• Tested web services using postman/any other tool to test the XML requests and the responses for each of the operations.
• Performed API Level testing for web services, enhanced the Test harness and developed Test suites
• Should have can do attitude and initiative to start and complete the assigned activities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

BE/B.Tech/BCA/MCA - Computer

Overall Experience : 7-9 years

Automation Experience : 1-2 years

• 7-9 years Software Quality Assurance and Software Testing experience.
• 1-2 years of automation scripting using Selenium(using Java) including creation of test scripts.
• Plan, design, execute and report software tests.
• Analysing users stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility
• Execute all levels of testing (System, Integration, and Regression)
• Experience in analysing and understanding Business specifications, testing requirements, and Developing detailed Test plans, Test cases, Test scripts, Test Scenarios.
• Experience with agile development, continuous integration, debugging and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Operate independently in a fast paced and demanding work environment where strong organization and multi-tasking skills are required.
• Collaborate closely with other team members and departments.
• Should have Knowledge of at least one database management system.
• Innovative and Self learner for mentoring and problem resolutions.
• Good communication skills.
