About Intrusion Business
The Intrusion Business Unit within Johnson Controls focuses on designing, manufacturing, and delivering advanced security systems and solutions. These solutions are primarily geared towards protecting properties from unauthorized access, burglaries, and other threats. The unit offers an array of technologies such as intrusion detection, surveillance, and integrated security solutions that work together to deliver seamless protection.
The unit serves various industries, including commercial, industrial, residential, government, and retail sectors. Their solutions are widely used in buildings, facilities, and infrastructures, offering both proactive and reactive safety measures to address security concerns effectively.
What you will do
We are seeking a skilled Software Tester to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for testing software applications, identifying bugs, and ensuring that all functionality is operating as expected. The ideal candidate will have skills of manual and automated testing, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for ensuring software quality.
- We’re a collaborative bunch, so you’ll contribute to all phases of the SDLC, from planning, development, testing and release
- You will work closely with Scrum teams to deliver products on time with quality
- You’ll also coordinate with the Architect’s to understand and maintain an in-depth understanding of the current and upcoming requirements for proposed releases
- We work in a fast-moving agile set-up, so expect to pitch in with other responsibilities from time to time
How you will do it
- Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve software defects.
- Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure consistent test coverage.
- Report and track bugs using test management tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.).
- Conduct regression testing to verify fixes and ensure no new issues are introduced.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure software meets business requirements.

- B.E /B.Tech, M.E/ M.Tech, MCA, MSc
- Minimum 60% in all academics
- 2023/2024 Pass outs
