Job Description:
Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our Humanoid is designed for corporate tasks targeting labor shortages and jobs that are undesirable or unsafe. We are based in Sunnyvale, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration.
We are looking for a Test Engineer on the Controls team to author, execute, and analyze tests for assessing the performance and robustness of controls features.
Responsibilities:
- Author behaviors and test strategies for validating latest controls features
- Work directly with Controls team members to understand testing needs
- Perform first line analysis on testing results, including issue triage
- Push the boundaries of performance to help understand control system limitations
Requirements:
- Expertise in C++ and python
- Experience running control systems on real hardware
- Familiar with git workflows and bazel build systems
- Excellent triage and failure analysis skills
- Bachelor’s in engineering or computer science
The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $150,000 - $210,000 annually.
