As a Test Development Engineer Intern, you will support the Validation team in developing and building test systems. Responsibilities include collecting software/hardware requirements, creating documentation, developing BOMs, and creating scripts under mentorship. You'll gain hands-on experience with hardware and software solutions while working collaboratively.

Position Summary

We are looking for motivated interns to join our Validation department. As Test Development Engineer Intern, you will active support Validation team to develop, design and build test systems.

You will have the opportunity to work on a collaborative team to provide test systems for environmental and EMC (Electromagnetic Compliance) tests in our laboratory. It’s both: hardware and software solutions works as one tester to check Aptiv innovations products.

Your Role

Collecting and analyzing software / hardware requirements
Works with documentation (create, review, maintenance)
Support team to provide BOM (Bill Of Materials) and complete components list
Create scripts, macros and programs, all while receiving mentorship from our engineers and team
Support projects test setups development

Your Background

Passion to learn latest technology
Knowledge of at least one scripting or programming language
Basic knowledge about electronics, measurements methods
Basic knowledge of any serial communication protocols ( i.e. RS-232, RS-485, TCP, SPI, I2C, CAN ) would be beneficial
Student status (Electronics or Computer Science or related)
Availability ( minimum 20 h per week)
Basic English skills
