What does the role look like?
We are searching an Operations service manager for Brugherio plant.
The position will directly report to the Site Manager of Brugherio, Collins Italy and, within his/her role, the candidate will be in charge of managing the operational activities, as testing, finishing and electrical operations, interacting directly with all stakeholders
What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?.
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of a teams to meet cell’s daily output targets.
- Management of testing and activities before product certification.
- Responsible for operational efficiency and productivity
- Determine overdue and/or current load position of the cell and work with planning to establish order release strategy, takt and pitch for the month to achieve on time delivery to internal customer
- Review capacity planning and drive level loading initiatives to ensure adequate headcount staffing is allocated for machines and processes to meet productivity, labor efficiency and utilization of resources
- Achieve business goals through working with various departments to improve process, performance and management efficiency by driving a strong data collection culture
- Establish operator skill matrix and operator bar charts to ensure smooth labor assignments to support daily rate of demand and output targets
- Promote & maintain a team orientated environment that is committed to personal & professional advancement of team members
- The supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day application of organization policies/procedures & monitoring performance of technicians productivity, discipline, attendance, safety and quality issues
- Recognize and recommend operational improvements
What will you bring to the role?
Desirable skills:
- Engineering degree (Aerospace or Mechanical will be preferred).
- Comprovate experience of manufacturing techniques, process controls and products (7+ years)
- Comprovate experience of successfully leading operations team
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, demonstrating positive and collaborative attitude
- Fluent English.
