Position Overview: The Tessitura Administrator at the Athenaeum Center will manage and optimize the Tessitura CRM system, ensuring its seamless integration and functionality across the organization. This position emphasizes building and managing shows, maintaining data integrity, and supporting strategic initiatives through data analysis, dashboard development, and system customization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tessitura System Management:

    • Maintain and optimize the Tessitura CRM, ensuring efficient system performance.
    • Build and manage shows, events, and season rollovers in Tessitura.
    • Configure system settings and workflows to align with organizational needs and best practices.
  • User Support & Training:

    • Provide day-to-day technical support to staff, resolving issues and offering guidance.
    • Train new and existing users on Tessitura features and capabilities.
    • Develop and update user documentation and training resources.
  • Data Management & Reporting:

    • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security, adhering to organizational policies.
    • Create and manage custom reports for departments, including ticketing, marketing, and development.
    • Analyze patron and donor data to inform strategic decision-making and identify opportunities for engagement.
    • Develop dashboards and new reports to provide actionable insights for departments, including financial and operational data.
  • Financial Data Analysis:

    • Collaborate with the finance team to integrate and analyze financial data within Tessitura.
    • Generate financial reports and dashboards that support budget planning, revenue tracking, and performance analysis.
  • Collaboration & Process Improvement:

    • Work collaboratively with departments to optimize workflows and data utilization.
    • Stay updated on Tessitura enhancements and implement new features as needed.
    • Act as the primary liaison between departments to ensure cohesive system use and communication.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Arts Administration, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience working with Tessitura CRM, with a focus on building shows and events.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, SQL, and reporting tools.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a collaborative work ethic.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to train and support a diverse team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the arts, culture, or nonprofit sectors.
  • Familiarity with ticketing, marketing, and development operations.
  • Experience in project management and system integration.

Salary Range: Varies with experience in Tessitura and qualifications.
