Job Description

The Territory Sales Manager role is accountable for business development and sales results in the assigned territory (Central & Eastern Europe, Middle East), including: penetrating new accounts, creating a sales pipeline, establishing effective professional relationships with key prospect executives and transforming new opportunities in sales; all of that consistent with Thales standards.

The TSM will work in the field, visit / meet remotely prospects, and generate new business opportunities at trade shows, conferences, and other relevant events or via research, prospecting and cold calling activities.

New business quota to develop new accounts (hunting) will be assigned and pipeline creation & sales targets will be measured periodically.

Education:

  • University degree or equivalent
  • Fluent in English – mandatory

Experience:  

  • 3+ years complex sales experience in software or IT industry – mandatory
  • Consultative sales approach/value based selling
  • Experience in hunting, prospecting, cold calling
  • Experience in building relationships with prospects / customers at management level
  • Experience in orchestrating deals internally and externally
  • Experience and willingness to work as a team
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, able to confidently present proposals
  • Market knowledge of the tech industry in Eastern Europe

  • Strong motivation and a positive approach to researching new business prospects.
  • Business development attitude (hunter), cold calling capabilities
  • A positive attitude to dealing with people
  • Value based selling knowledge
  • Strong listening, questioning and learning skills
