Overview

Generates maximum sales to assure achievement of annual sales goals through A-dec's network of authorized dealers, dental schools and government installations as assigned, along with administrative and company interpersonal responsibilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides and assures maximum sales across all categories of A-dec products within the assigned territory through effective sales activities and through frequent communication as well as following A-dec best practices.
  • Creates business plans with the Regional Manager to be used as the blueprint for the year and serves as a basis for prioritizing sales support efforts.
  • Conducts quarterly business review meetings with dealer partners.
  • Consistently stays connected and grows business with non-traditional networks.
  • Supports accurate forecast by managing opportunities through Client Relations Management (CRM) system.
  • Provides for consistency and compliance within A-dec's policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrates exceptional business acumen while protecting A-dec’s financial interests.
  • Provides for maximum growth opportunities for A-dec by frequent communication and information sharing with the respective Regional and Territory Managers.
  • Effectively manages all communication channels and provides for effective sales communications by completing all administrative requirements with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Must be able to travel on a regular basis within the assigned territory, with some travel required outside of the territory.
  • Excellent ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
  • Excellent ability to organize and manage time and resources effectively.
  • Proficiency in presentation systems and comfortable presenting information to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently as well in a team environment.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of five years account management experience in the dental industry is preferred. This is to include, but not limited to, working with the dental distribution network.
  • Familiarity with and understanding of the North American Dental Distribution system preferred.
