As Soligent, the leading pure-play solar distributor in the US, continues to grow rapidly, we're seeking a highly motivated Territory Manager to lead efforts in driving clean energy solutions across Florida in partnership with City Electric Supply (CES) Southeast branches. This role focuses onbuilding strong relationships with CES branches, suppliers, and electricians to promote clean energy adoption. The Territory Manager - CES will play a pivotal role in customer training, sales activities, and supporting CES to deliver solar and clean energy solutions.
You'll be at the forefront of fostering strong relationships while meeting sales targets and promoting clean energy solutions. If you are passionate about renewable energy, relationship building, and delivering exceptional service, then we want you on our team.
Our ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Build and nurture strong customer relationships with CES branches, serving as their trusted solar advisor.
● Drive connections between CES National and Local Southeast branches to foster clean energy adoption.
● Collaborate with suppliers to align on clean energy goals and gain their trust to deliver CES objectives.
● Partner with Soligent’s local Regional Account Managers for joint participation in events and initiatives when applicable.
● Develop a training calendar to educate CES employees and customers, creating clean energy brand ambassadors.
● Host monthly counter events, lunch-and-learns, and quarterly Solar Innovation training sessions with CES branches and electricians.
● Participate in supplier training to gain certifications in key solar areas.
● Represent Soligent at strategic sales meetings, trade shows, and events.
● Maintain CES showrooms with stocked, clean, and presentable demos, products, and sell sheets to drive interest and sales.
● Collaborate with Soligent's supply chain team to forecast and ensure proper inventory levels for CES branches and Soligent installers.
● Deliver month-over-month sales increases through engagement and activity.
● Respond promptly and professionally to all customer inquiries and requests.
● Process orders accurately with CXP support, minimizing RMAs.
● Provide clear and consistent communication about Soligent’s products, services, policies, and procedures to CES branches and their clients.
QUALIFICATIONS
● Expertise in NetSuite, MS Excel, Word, and CRM software.
● Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage priorities and workflow effectively.
● Strong verbal and written communication and negotiation abilities.
● Versatility, flexibility, and enthusiasm to adapt to changing priorities.
● Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills to engage with colleagues and suppliers.
● Team-oriented with innovative problem-solving capabilities.
● Must have regular access to a vehicle for travel to customers, Soligent distribution centers, and other ad hoc meetings approximately 50% of the time.
● Must have a valid Florida driver’s license and no major driving offenses within past five years.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
● Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
● 5+ years of experience in sales or territory management, preferably in the renewable energy or clean energy sector.
● Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and building long-term client relationships.About Soligent
