We are looking for an experienced Temporary Traffic Management Planner to come and join our team in Taranaki. Your talents in this role will provide the TTM team with an environment that puts safety and quality first. You will develop and submit safe, site-specific traffic management plans. This covers risk planning, implementation, maintenance, and removal of temporary traffic management measures while road work is being completed.
In addition to the above you will:

Prepare and submit along with the TMP other associated Consent Applications to enable the successful completion of Traffic Management Operations

Maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring requests are dealt with promptly and technical questions, requirements or challenges are resolved or escalated appropriately

Ensure TMP’s are accurate, compliant and fit with legislation and industry standards & guidelines.

We’re looking for someone with:

An experienced STMS CAT A and B Roads Non-Practicing
-
Current TTM qualification (desirable, but not essential)
-
Advanced skillset in Rapid Plan and/or CAD
-
Experience and understanding of requirements applicable to all types of traffic management operations, activities and other tasks

Methodical and logical thinker with excellent problem solving skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
-
Awareness and desire to work with the New Zealand Guide to TTM and the Risk Based Approach.

Experience and knowledge with temporary works process and design
