Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Temporary Omni-Channel eCommerce Merchandising Assistant to join our team for a short-term assignment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our online presence by assisting the DTC team by creating and updating product detail pages, making site updates, building AB tests, and doing competitive research. They will also help to support 3rd marketplace setup (i.e. Amazon, Walmart, Target). This position reports to the eCommerce Merchandising Manager.
eCommerce Responsibilities:

  • General:
    • Create new products for getsunday.com determined by ecommerce/ops/physical product in our management system. Coordinate asset creation with content team and timing of launch with tech team.
    • Maintain and update current product content, copy and pricing as necessary, coordinating with content and tech teams.
    • Manage tasks on the team JIRA board, updating and completing in a timely manner.
    • Respond to relevant emails and messages regarding ecommerce functions.
    • QA website and subscription funnel weekly/bi-weekly to update product pages, taxonomy, and any other potential revenue and conversion impacts.
  • Promotions and Pricing:
    • Mark down and mark up current products as needed to align with marketing and merchandising promotions onsite.
    • Update site banners for new promotions following brand guidelines.
  • AB Tests:
    • Create tests in our AB testing tool, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience while gaining relevant learnings
  • Competitive Research:
    • Maintain a keen eye for trends in the marketplace for other ecommerce and subscription companies, noting best practices and customer experiences.
    • As requested, pull together examples from other companies during relevant sale or holiday periods.


Retail Marketplace:

  • Item Setup:
    • Assist with setting up new products in retailer portals, ensuring all required data fields are accurately completed, and assets are uploaded in alignment with retailer specifications and timelines.
  • Content Uploads:
    • Support the upload and optimization of product content on retailer websites, including product descriptions, images, and other marketing materials ensuring consistency with brand guidelines.
  • WERCS Execution:
    • Manage WERCS submissions for product compliance, ensuring all documentation is submitted and approved to meet WERCS and retailer requirements
  • Data Accuracy and Maintenance:
    • Regularly audit retailer websites and provide updates to Account Managers addressing any discrepancies to product data, pricing, and promotional content proactively


Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with CMS platforms and the ability to make on-page updates.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple teams.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and proficient in time management.
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in eCommerce.
  • Experience with retailer portals for item setup and content uploads (i.e. Walmart, Target, Lowe's, Home Depot, Amazon)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in product data across multiple platforms
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines
  • Familiarity with WERCS compliance systems product submissions preferred
